How does it work? Self Cleaning Glass is an ordinary glass with a special coating on the outside that has unique dual-action features.

Once exposed to daylight, the coating, which takes approximately 5 days to activate, chemically reacts in 2 ways: breaks down organic dirt deposits and rain water sheets’ down the glass to wash loosened dirt away.

Given the coating is securely bonded to the glass it can only be affected if the surface of the glass is damaged in some way. Tests have shown that the coating will not flake off or discolour and will last as long as the glass itself.
